Exposimeter was an idea I started developing at the beginning of 2024. I needed to understand what I was actually getting from my lighting units, because "Oh, I thought this would be brighter…" was something se and brought together almost 3 years of experience working with it, to get the most out of it in the most direct way - at least for me, because I originally built this app for myself, and I'm still primarily building it for myself.

I was keen on the idea that the app should work and be used the same way I use my light meter on set, but in pre-production. It is not primarily intended as a tool for on-set use—I already have my trusted light meter for that. Instead, I needed a virtual light meter in pre-production to be more free and creative during production.
